Q.          Is there a difference between air taxi and air charter?

A.          No.  Both names refer to renting an entire airplane.

Q.          Is it expensive to charter?

A           Compared to flying on a commercial airline, chartering can be more expensive;              however, depending on the number of people, trip distance, and type of aircraft the cost              could be comparable.

Q.          What’s the benefit of charter over a commercial flight?

A.          Time and convenience.   A charter aircraft can pick you up at almost any airport.  You              can easily turn a two day business trip into a one day trip by eliminating a day of t             traveling to and from major airports and waiting in long security lines.

Q.          I live near a small airport with no commercial traffic and airport security, can we use              that airport?

A.          Generally yes,   but it does depend on the length of runway and weather conditions.  On              a nice day most airports will work; however, during times of inclement weather some              airports do not have the required accommodations to facilitate landing.   Let us know              the airport you’d like to use. We will check it and provide options.

Q.          When you charter do you only pay for the time you’re on the aircraft?

A.          You pay for the time the aircraft is in service.  Often it saves you money to have the              flight crew remain on site than to pay for the aircraft to return to its original departure              site and pick you up for a return flight. 

Q.          Who determines departure times etc.

A.          You’re the boss.   You specify times convenient to your schedule.   As long as weather              and other conditions allow a safe departure and arrival we travel at your convenience.                Should something need to change you’ll be offered options suitable to you. 

Q.          Does it cost more to add more passengers?

A.          Generally no, but depending on the aircraft a larger aircraft might be needed to              accommodate additional passengers and baggage. 

Q.          How much baggage can I bring with me?

A.          How much baggage permitted is based on the number of passengers, length of the flight              and type of aircraft.   When making your reservation, we’ll assist in finding the right              combination of aircraft seats and baggage to meet your travel needs.
